Tour of Romania on Motorcycle




This a 10 day tour of romania both on road and off-road, this is why this tour is conceived for enduro or enduro-touring motorcycles and for bikers passioned by wilderness and beaufiful landscapes.The tour is about 3000km long and the distance covered per day is 250-400 km.
We will reach both the Black Sea shore and the high crests of the Carpathians. We will cross all kind of terrain, includind mountain roads and off-road full of rocks, sand,dust and mud. The highest altitude reached in this journey is 2145m, on the highest paved road in romania, crossing the Parang Mountains. We'll also cross the "Transfagarasean", one of the most beautiful roads in the world.
We will spend the nights in tents(day 2,3,5,6 and 9) in the silence of the forest or on the beach and in guest houses situated along the way (Day 0,1,4,7 and 10).






Day 1
We leave from Arad to Moldova Noua, here the road snakes along the Danube, where we will see the Danube Caldrons and the statue of Decebal, a famous king of the ancient dacians. Our final destination is Baile Herculane thermal resort, a city surrounded by rocky mountains. The end of the day will catch us in a bath of thermal water.





Day 2
This second day we reach de highest altitude, 2145m, on the Parang Mountains crest,after riding on the Transalpina road. From here we go off-road to the camping site, next to Petrimanu Lake, a beautiful, wild location surrounded by moutains.




Day 3
After approximately 30km of off-road, we head for the 'Transfagarasan'road, the most spectacular road in omania, which crosses Fagaras Mountains. The day will end at the foothills of the mountain, but not before visiting Balea Lake, a beautiful glacial lake situated at 2000m altitude.




Day 4
This day we head for Bucharest, capital of Romania. We cross once more the Carpathians on serpentines roads, with spectacular views. In the evening we will visit Bucharest old downtown; on it's central streets we will take part to the active city night life, in bars, restaurants.



Day 5
After breakfast we leave for the Black Sea, we cross the Danube by ferry, and in the afternoon we camp on a wild and quiet beach, between the sea and the Danube Delta.




Day 6
We continue visiting the beautiful "Dobrogea" region, we cross Macin Mountains, one of the oldest mountains in the world, and finally we camp near "Soveja" resort situated in the middle of the mountains between Transilvania and Moldavia.





Day 7
This 7-th day we visit a part of Transilvania region and after crossing Bicaz Gorges we accommodate in the city of Vatra Dornei, a nice town at the foothills of the mountain, great for sightseeing and frequented by tourists in winter time for it's sky slopes.




Day 8
his is the day when we ride the longest distance on this trip, aproximately 400 km. On our path we ride on beautiful mountain roads and off-road and in the evening we camp in "Padis", in the centre of the "Apuseni Mountains"(Western Mountains).





Day 9
This is a day only for relaxation into the wild nature. In the Padis Plateau we can visit many caves and several gorges or we can just sit at the camp site and relax.




Day 10
This last day we head for Arad, the final destination of the trip.

Price includes:
- 5 nights accommodation with breakfast included.(day of arrival in romania, day 1,4,7 and 10)
- the services of an experienced English speaking guide.
- All visiting fees, road and ferry taxes.

This is a trip for 2-4 motorcycles. 
The itinerary is flexible and could be changed due to bad weather conditions, fitness and other local conditions.
The itinerary and other travel options(ex: accommodation)can be modified at your request and the prices will be recalculated.

For 2 motorcycles: 750 Euro/pers
For 3 motorcycles: 650 Euro/pers
For 4 motorcycles: 550 Euro/pers
For every passenger the price is 220 Euro.
